Ethernet data transmission, integrated rotary joint for a medium, and a mounting flange – this MIA slip ring delivers three important functions in one robust housing. The Ethernet functional data unit (100Base-TX, Cat5e) supports all Ethernet-based protocols and is shielded for use in electromagnetically noisy environments. The rotary joint for media (1-channel, 1/4") reliably delivers air or water at up to 10 bar over the axis of rotation. The mounting flange (Ø 120 mm) enables secure and precise attachment.

Like all other slip rings in the MIA series, this version is designed for continuous operation and is absolutely maintenance-free. It is delivered with open cable ends so that you can install the connectors required.

Gigabit Ethernet unit
The Gigabit Ethernet unit opens up a new dimension in the field of contacting data transmission. There is no adaptation, user-defined customization, or special ESD treatment required – simply plug and play: With the M12 circular connector: CAT6A har-speed with female panel mount connector. This device is available as an independent unit but can also be coupled to an MIA slip ring or a power unit.
