This MIA slip ring is the most versatile among our bestselling configurations: It combines power transmission (400 V / 18 A, 4 tracks plus PE), triple Ethernet communication (100Base-TX, Cat5e), a Gigabit Ethernet unit (100 Mbit to 1 Gbit, Cat6) and a 4-channel rotary joint (1/2", up to 10 bar for air and water) in a single unit. This combination makes it the optimum solution for complex applications in which power, high-speed data communication, and media have to be transmitted over the axis of rotation concurrently.

All MIA slip rings are designed for continuous operation and are completely maintenance-free. They are delivered with open cable ends so that you can install the connectors required.

Gigabit Ethernet unit
The Gigabit Ethernet unit opens up a new dimension in the field of contacting data transmission. There is no adaptation, user-defined customization, or special ESD treatment required – simply plug and play: With the M12 circular connector: CAT6A har-speed with female panel mount connector. This device is available as an independent unit but can also be coupled to an MIA slip ring or a power unit.
