This MIA slip ring combines signal transmission, Ethernet communication, and media feed-through in a single unit – ideal for complex applications in which control signals, network data, and media have to be transmitted concurrently over the axis of rotation. The functional signal unit transmits via 16 signal tracks (125 V / 6 A), the Ethernet functional data unit (100Base-TX, Cat5e) supports all Ethernet-based protocols, and the rotary joint for media (1-channel, 1/2") reliably delivers air or water at pressures up to 10 bar. The mounting flange (Ø 170 mm) ensures secure attachment.

All MIA slip rings are designed for continuous operation and are completely maintenance-free. They are delivered with open cable ends so that you can install the connectors required.

The Gigabit Ethernet unit opens up a new dimension in the field of contacting data transmission. There is no adaptation, user-defined customization, or special ESD treatment required – simply plug and play: With the M12 circular connector: CAT6A har-speed with female panel mount connector. This device is available as an independent unit but can also be coupled to an MIA slip ring or a power unit.
